APR25 1. Safety 1.1 Intended use The operator manual shows the use of the pocket radio. Read the manual carefully before first use. 1.2 Labels in this manual ! WARNING A warning means that injury or death is possible if the instructions are not obeyed. ! CAUTION A caution means that damage to the equipment is possible. i A note gives additional information, e.g. for a procedure. 1.3 General safety instructions ! WARNING Do not put force on the appliance.
2. Installation 2.1 Pocket radio ● Unpack the appliance carefully. ● Put the packaging in a storage place. ● Remove the labels from the front panel carefully. ! CAUTION Do not put the appliance near a heat source. This can cause damage to the equipment. i ● Batteries are not included with this appliance. Installing the batteries ● Remove the battery cover. ● Insert the batteries matching the (+) and (-) polarity markings. ● Install the battery cover.

i ● When switching on, the appliance receives the FM frequency automatically. ● To improve the reception of the FM frequency, extend the aerial antenna (12). To improve the reception of the AM frequency, turn the appliance. ● It is not necessary to extend the aerial antenna if a headphone is used. Set the time ● Switch off the appliance. ● Press and hold the TIME button (7). ● Press and hold the HOUR button (8) and press the TIME button (7) repeatedly until the desired hour is set.
