Rating Your Music
As in Windows Media Player 10, you can give a song a rating of one to five stars,
five being the highest. You can also change the ratings of songs you previously
rated using Windows Media Player.
The next time you connect your Portable Media Center to the primary computer,
the ratings you give to songs are applied to the same songs in the Media Library
of Windows Media Player 10.
The rating is displayed as a horizontal line of stars at the top of the Music
Settings screen.
To rate a song on your Portable Media Center
1. Choose from the following:
• On a list of songs or albums, click Play All to play all songs, or click
a song title to select a song; then press the OK button.
• On a Song Title screen, click Play to play a song.
2. Use the Left or Right button to select the Music Settings screen; then select
the star ratings line.
3. Press the OK button one or more times to fill in one or more stars.
If there are already five filled-in stars, press the OK button to return to one
star.
