Using the Equalizer
You can apply a value selected from the Equalizer settings screen to songs or
albums.
The Equalizer setting optimizes audio playback on your Portable Media Center
for different music genres, such as Classical, Hip Hop, or Jazz.
Use the Equalizer settings screen to select the type of equalizer you want.
To apply an equalizer value
1. Choose from the following:
• On an Album Songlist screen, click Play All to play the album, or
click a song title to select a song; then press the OK button.
• On a Song Title screen, click Play to play a song.
2. Use the Left and Right buttons to move to the Music Settings screen.
3. Select Equalizer and press the OK button to select the check box.
The Equalizer value is immediately applied to all songs played on your Portable
Media Center until you clear the Equalizer check box on the Music Settings
screen.
To remove an equalizer value
1. On the Music Settings screen, select Equalizer.
2. Press the OK button to clear the check box.
The Equalizer value is no longer applied to songs played on your Portable
Media Center.
