Onboard Device Configuration
The parameters in this screen are for advanced users only. You do not need to change the values in this
screen because these values are already optimized.
The Onboard Device Configuration screen assigns resources to basic computer communication hardware.
NOTE:
When the device is disabled, all the sub-items will be hidden.
Parameter Description Options
Serial Port B Enables or disables the infrared port.
The infrared port is a PnP device. Enabled/Disabled setting
won’t affect the Windows Device Manager setting of the
infrared port.

Mode Sets operation mode of the serial port B.

Normal, IrDA, ASK-IR
Base I/O address Sets the base I/O address, of the parallel port.
Help: Set the base I/O address for the serial port B.

Interrupt Sets the interrupt request of the parallel port.
Help: Set the interrupt request for the serial port B.

DMA channel Sets a DMA channel for the FIR operation

Parallel Port Enables or disables the Parallel port.
