TIMER OPERATION
Snooze function
When turning on the player by the timer playback or
alarm function, the snooze function can be available.
Press SNOOZE when the timer playback starts
or the alarm beeps.
Playback or alarm stops temporarily and starts again
after 5 minutes.
• The snooze function can be repeated up to 6 times.
To cancel the snooze function
While the snooze function is activated, press ALARM/
TIMER.
Sleep timer
You can turn off the player automatically at a specified
time.

Press SLEEP.

Within 4 seconds, press r or t to
specify the timer-activated period.
It can be set between 10 and 180 minutes in 10-
minute steps.
Tips
While the sleep timer is activated:
- The back-light for the display window is turned off.
-“ ” is displayed.
To check the time remaining until the power is
turned off
Press SLEEP once. The remaining time is displayed for
4 seconds.
To cancel the sleep timer
Press SLEEP twice so that “OFF” is displayed.
Simple sleep timer setting
Press SLEEP while the power is off. The player is
turned on with the last function, and the sleep timer is
automatically set to 30-minute.
If you want to change the timer-activate period, press
r or t within 4 seconds.
Note
While playing or recording on the tape, the player is not
turned off after the specified time has passed. In this
case, the player will be turned off after the tape stops.
