This unit plays back the side facing the cassette holder.

Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER OFF/TAPE.
Insert a cassette.
Press the ■/a STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette holder.
@ The side to be played back
When the cassette is inserted, press the cassette holder lightly to
close it.
Press the 4 PLAY button to start playback.
OPE/BATT indicator lights.
Adjust the volume and tone.
Basic tape operation
Press the folIowing buttons.
To stop W= STOP/EJECT button
To fast forward 44 F FWD button
To rewind w REW button
To pause II PAUSE button
Press again to resume playback.
Usable tapes
Use normal (type I) tape. This unit cannot take full advantage of metal
(type IV) or chrome (type II) tapes.
When the end of the tape is reached
The tape will stop and the buttons will be released.
