History 6
1947 The beginning of the Airwell’s story, a french air conditioning brand. 1950 The firm developed and began the mass production of the first window unit, to offer exceptional climate conditions, mainly dedicated to European and African markets. 1970 Airwell developed a split system unit by splitting its core window unit in two parts. It was the first to produce wall split systems in Europe. Implantation of historical plant Tillières-sur-Avre in France.
Regulation and standards 8
An important part of Airwell Residential’s strategy is to anticipate and go further beyond the new European regulations, safety standard and guidelines that will be applied soon. The requirements are covering all the cycles of the product process from manufacturing to distribution and marketing.
The most important regulations today are: FGAS Since January 2015, the regulation FGAS is implemented. Refrigerant fluid are man-made gases that can remain in the atmosphere for centuries and contribute to a global greenhouse effect. There are three types: hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6). The F-Gas regulation’s goal initiated by the European commission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the EU by 80-95 % compared to levels in 1990.

VRF FlowLogic II, high performance system ultra modularity, multi applications FlowLogic II is a range of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solutions for heating and air conditioning applications including of two innovative systems each utilising high performance R410A refrigerant. This range is unmatched by anything on the market and can independently control up to 64 indoor units, offering a capacity from 5 to 16 HP (15 to 135 kW).
OPTIMAL ENERGY SAVINGS – GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT The energy efficiency of the FlowLogic II range is exceptional thanks to the use of DC Inverter compressors and the use of variable speed fan motors. Therefore for 1 kW of electricity used by the system, up to 4 kW of heat output is generated.

VRF Easy Installation Adopting the VRF outdoor, not the traditional chiller outdoor system, is easy to design and install since no additional water system such as boilers, gas connections, cooling tower etc. are required.
