Note: For Win 98 users, the system will ask for Windows 98 CD-ROM after rebooting. Please replace the
supplied CD with the required one and click OK to proceed.

h) Then, you shall see the status icon of the Wireless 11Mbps Configuration Tool appeared in
the system tray, and the installation is entirely finished at the moment.
To set configurations for the network connection, double-click the Wireless 11Mbps Configuration
Tool icon, which should be displayed on your desktop already. For more details about the
application program, please refer to the Wireless 11Mbps Configuration Tool Basics chapter in
this manual.
2 .2 I nst alla tion N ot es- W indow s XP
If your current system is running Windows XP, you shall find that two tabs are contained in the PRISM
Wireless Settings dialog box after you’ve followed the instructions above and successfully installed
the drivers. However, normally, the dialog box should be consisted of five tabs. This is because
Windows XP has its built-in configuration tool – Windows XP Wireless Zero Configuration Service
to assist you in networking activities. It is recommended to utilize the attached Wireless 11Mbps
Configuration Tool to enjoy more benefits it will bring. Thus, to employ your Wireless 11Mbps
Configuration Tool under Windows XP, please proceed to the next steps to change the default
settings of Windows XP Wireless Zero Configuration Service to Wireless 11Mbps Configuration
Tool.
