3. Preparing for Installation
The AirTies AP-400's DHCP feature is not enabled by default and thus it cannot assign an
IP address to the PC connected to it. You will need to assign an IP address to the PC
manually. It is recommended that the installation settings of the AP-400 be done from
a PC that is directly, not wirelessly, connected to it.

Double-click on the "Local Area Connection" icon on the bottom
right corner of the WindowsXP desktop. This will bring up the "Local
Area Connection Status" window.
Click "Properties" to go to the "Local Area Connection Properties" window.
For each wireless PC (running Windows) that you would like to connect to the AP-400,
go to Start-Settings-Network Connections-Wireless Network Connection-View Wireless
Networks and connect to the wireless network named AIRTIES_AP-400.
