13.3 Connecting the BSR to BSDU
The BSR's 15-pin D-type port is connected to one of the eight BSDU's rear panel 15-pin D-type
ports (labeled Radio 8-1).
The BSR-to-BSDU cable setup is as follows:
¾ Cable: straight-through 10/100 Base-T Ethernet 4 Pair CAT-5e outdoor type – 22 AWG
(100 meters)
¾ Connectors:
• BSR side: 15-pin D-type male (only 8 pins are used)
• BSDU side: 15-pin D-type male (only 8 pins are used)
