Note: The shell should be hand tightened only. Do NOT use tools to tighten the shell.
Once the connector is properly installed, the cable should be positioned and secured to minimize
stress on the cable and connector.
5.5 Connecting the AC Power Cable to AirHarmony-4000
Danger: Hazardous voltage! Before working, ensure that the power is removed from the
power connection cables. When the system is powered on, do not touch the power
terminals.
5.5.1 Power Cable Preparation
Tip: It is good practice to label both ends of the cable to identify which AirHarmony-4000
unit it is connected to.
Tip: It is good practice to leave a spare loop of cable (approximately 0.5m). This will allow
for easier wiring and will allow the cable to be re-terminated if necessary in the future.
The power cable is connected to the AirHarmony-4000 connector (marked PWR) on the bottom
panel of the unit.
1. Prepare the connector by unscrewing the body, included in the AirHarmony-4000
package.
