To connect the PC to the BSDU by serial connection (see Figure 5-7):
1. Connect the 9-pin D-type female connector to the PC.
2. Connect the 9-pin D-type male connector, at the other end of the cable, to the
BSDU’s serial port (labeled Monitor).
