5 AirHarmony-4200 DC Connections
Thissectiondescribesgroundingprocedure,cablepreparationandconnectionsandexternal
antennaassembly.
5.1 Grounding
TheAirHarmony‐4200DCrequiresasecuregroundconnection.Thegroundcableshouldbe
connectedwiththegroundingscrewfittedwithaflatwasherandlockwashertothebottomofthe
chassisclearlymarkedwiththeuniversalgroundsymbolasshownbelow.Thegroundingscrew(M6
x16)ispre
‐installedduringassembly.

5.2 Remote Antenna Assembly
TheAirHarmony‐4200DCunitisbeusedwitharemotelyattachedantenna.
Forinstallationofaremotelymountedantennafollowtheantennamanufacturer’sinstructions and
connecttheantennatotheAirHarmony‐4200DCExternalDuplexers’RFconnectors(femaleDIN
4.1/9.5connector)usingtheappropriatecableswithamaleDIN4.1/9.5
connector.
Caution:TakecarenotovertightentheRFconnector.Theconnectornutshouldbe
tightenedtoanominaltorqueofnomorethan10.0Nm(1.47lb‐ft).RFfailurescan
resultwhentheRFconnectorisover‐tightened.
ConnectingRFJumperCablestoExternalAntenna
