2.02 Check how the drop cable is to enter the site and the internal drop cable run from
the CRU to the PSU.
2.03 Before commencing with the installation, confirm with the customer the following:-
• Suitability of the CRU position.
• Entry point of the Drop Cable to the site.
• Internal cable run from entry point to the PSU.
3. Power Availability
3.01 Check with the customer the suitability of the PSU position - Within 2 metres of the
AC Power Point and within 25/80 metres of the CRU. (Maximum length of drop
cable is 80 metres).
