AU Card
1. To display the Analogue Unit(AU) card double click the mouse while pointing to the
card on the Modem Shelf view
The following information is displayed:
• Inventory Information. See DLP-019 for details.
• Card state.
• Reset button to reset the card.
• Alarms: Card Mismatch
• Scaling Factor See below
2. Click the right mouse button on the Analogue Unit (AU) card to drop menu. Select
Airspan DA AU properties.
3. The Scaling Factor optimises the system by fine tuning the power output depending
on the number of users. Select the number of users that can use the system at any one
time. When in service it is necessary to check the soft errors reported (a soft error is
the errors that occur before error correction). If soft errors occur the number of users
should be increased or the TX power reduced to produce less power output until the
soft errors are eliminated.
