2. If it is not possible to get sufficient RX gain the CRU, and there are no obstructions,
it may be faulty and should be changed.
Power Control Measurements
1. Using the DMM, measure the DC voltage between Ground (Green) and the PC
Monitoring point (Black) on the breakout socket. The voltage measured is a relative
indication of the transmit power level: The lower the voltage the higher the output
power level.
2. Check the label on the CRU to get an indication of the transmit signal strength from
the characterised readings to ensure that the margins are consistent with the receive
fade margins and original test results.
