Acceptable vapor line diameters provide adequate oil return to the compressor while avoiding excessive capacity loss. The s uction line
diameters shown in the chart below are acceptable for HP systems with R- 410A refrigerant:

between indoor and outdoor units. These applications require additional accessories and system modifications for reliable system operation.
Applications in this area may have height restrictions that limit allowable total equivalent length when outdoor unit is below indoor unit.
