Recognizing the PC4500/4800
The PC4500 and PC4800 cards can be recognized via the Manufacturer Codes in the Card Information
Structure (CIS) contained in attribute memory. The values are:
Manufacturer Code
PC4500: 0x015F
PC4800: 0x015F
Product Code
PC4500: 0x0005
PC4800: 0x0007
Card services provides a GET_CONFIGURATION_INFO function which returns the manufacturer and
product codes from a socket. Programmers writing their own host software should process the CIS to
verify that the card is a PC4500 or PC4800.
