3 - 2 Ethernet or Token Ring Bridge

Viewing the Conﬁguration Menu

Once you have completed the installation, the next step is to use the

Conﬁguration Menu commands to conﬁgure the Ethernet or Token Ring

Bridge.

To access the Conﬁguration Menu, select Conﬁguration from the Main

Menu.

Menu Descriptions

Radio: Used to set radio network parameters, such as system ID,

frequency, and bitrate. See Chapter 4 “Conﬁguring the Radio Net-

work”.

Ethernet or Token Ring: Used to set the Ethernet or Token Ring Param-

eters. See Chapter 5 “Conﬁguring the Ethernet or Token Ring Port”.

Ident: Used to set various infrastructure identiﬁers such as Node

Names, Network ID, and Internet Address. See Chapter 6 “Setting the

Network Identiﬁers”.

Console: Used to set up the Console Port. See Chapter 2 “Accessing the

Console System”.

Snmp: Used to conﬁgure the Ethernet or Token Ring Bridge for use with

the Simple Network Management Protocol. See Chapter 7 “Conﬁguring

SNMP”.
