The Client Card may not be properly seated in the PCMCIA slot.
“LANcard RAM region test failed” Error initializing ARLAN PCMCIA
An extended memory manager may be using the requested region of
memory. Ensure that the memory region selected for the Aironet PCM-
CIA is excluded from use. (e.g. EMM386 x=D000-D1FF)
Performance Tips
If you are experiencing performance problems, here’s a list of things to
try before you call Technical Support for assistance.
Improving your Radio Range
Access Point antennas should be located in the center of the area to
be covered.
Avoid placing any antenna where it may be shielded by surrounding
metal surfaces.
Antennas should be placed at the highest elevation possible, with a
minimal number of obstacles between it and the direct path to other
nodes. Common obstacles often encountered are furniture, walls and
partitions.
Orient the antenna in a vertical direction.
