L Parameter - Sets the L-parameter in the MAC (Media Access Con-
trol) random wait equation. The units of this parameter are 0.000001
seconds (1us). The value 0 causes the standard time to be used. This
parameter should be left as 0 in order for this device to communicate
properly with other Aironet devices.
Spreading Code - Used for test purposes only. Must be left at 0.
Resetting to Factory Settings
Use the Reset to Factory Settings parameter to restore all the configura-
tion parameters currently loaded into memory to the factory settings.
The Aironet Client Card is not affected until it is reconfigured. The con-
figuration file on disk is not affected until it is saved.
Editing the ARLANDGS Color Scheme
Use the Edit ARLANDGS Color Scheme parameter to change the colors
of the ARLANDGS screen elements. These settings can be made perma-
nent by saving the color scheme to disk.
Using the File Menu to Load and Save Files
The File Menu allows you to load and save the configuration files in the
system. When you select File Menu the following Window appears.
