Running ARLANDGS.EXE
1. Insert in Drive “A or B” the backup copy of the Aironet Configura-
tion diskette.
NOTE: If you have not yet made a backup copy of the Aironet Configura-
tion diskette, do so by running the DOS DISKCOPY command. Do not use
the DOS COPY command since the diskette contains subdirectories.
2. Type:
A: or B:
ARLANDGS
[switches]
(See
Appendix C - Command Line Switches
)
The Diagnostics/Setup Utility title screen appears.
3. Click on the OK button or press ENTER.
A message appears: “Scanning for Aironet devices.”
ARLANDGS will scan the PC’s memory (including serial and paral-
lel ports if selected on the command line) to find all the Aironet Cli-
ent Cards which are attached.
If your PC has more than one Aironet Client Card present the Device
Menu will appear, otherwise the Main Screen appears.
4. From the Device Menu, select the applicable card.
