Chapter 3 Driver Installation

3.2 Driver Installation for Windows 98

Step 1: Start Windows 98. The Add New Hardware Wizard appears announcing the

detecting of a new hardware. Click Next. Insert the provided Installation CD into

your CD-ROM drive.

Step 2: Select Search for the best driver for your device and click Next.

Step 3: Check Specify a location. Click Browse to locate the path of the driver:

x:\Driver\Win9x (where x is your CD-ROM drive) and click OK. Click Next.

Step 4: When Windows finds the driver file for the device, click Next.

Step 5: If Copying Files window appears, click Browse to locate the driver file and click

OK.

Step 6: Click Finish.
