Using the Slate and its Tools 21
The cordless mouse has three buttons. The left mouse button is set to click, the right mouse button
is set to right-click and the wheel button is set to middle-click. In addition, within many windows
and applications, you can rotate the wheel button forward to scroll up, and rotate it backwards to
scroll down.

Using the Function Buttons
The slate has two customizable function buttons. By default, the left function button is set to launch
the Floating Tools and the right function button is set to launch Notebook software.

TIP
In Microsoft Office applications that support a mouse with a wheel button, press
and hold the CTRL key and then rotate the wheel button to zoom in and out of the
current application.
CAUTION
Don’t leave it on the slate’s workspace when you aren’t using it, as this may
interfere with pointer positioning.
