3 Wiring

This chapter describes the wiring setup necessary for installing the DFGT in a decorative fireplace.

3.1 Overview connectors

In Figure 2 is illustrated which connectors are accessible from outside the housing of the controller PCB.

3.1.1 Description connections

The connectors shown in Figure 2 are described below.

Provides:

 Configurable relay output

 Modulation coil output

 ESYS supply output

 Power supply input

Relay: Output which can be configured for output

functionality such as boost or light. See 0.

Coil: Connect to modulation coil on ESYS

ESYS: Connect to power supply of ESYS

Power supply: Connect to mains

Provides Triac outputs

Triac 1 & 2: Outputs which can be configured for output

functionality such as boost or light. See 0.

I/O 1 to 4: Inputs and outputs which can be configured for

input functionality. See Appendix A.

I2C: Reserved for future use

ESYS-RX/TX: Connection for communication with ESYS
