Maintenance of the Air Tank and
Care During Shipping
AirForce airguns have an air tank pressurized to 3,000 psi when full. This tank
is designed to be lled at all times. You can leave it pressurized to 3,000 psi
indenitely, or you can keep a lower “caretaker” charge of around 2,000 psi in the
tank; if you desire.
The air tank is equipped with a safety burst disk that will rupture if the internal
pressure gets too high. Under no circumstances should the tank be pressurized
beyond 3,000 psi.
