Torque: 4.8 Kg/cm (4.8v)
Speed: 0.15 sec/60° (4.8v)
Dimensions: 36 x 15 x 29mm
Weight: 30g
Brand new for 2010 is this mini brushless
servo, which has been developed for small to
mid sized aircraft, offering digital performance
and brushless reliability in a compact package.
4.8v
Torque: 8.8 Kg/cm (4.8v)
Speed: 0.15 sec/60° (4.8v)
Dimensions: 40 x 20 x 35mm
Weight: 46g
The new BLS151 brushless standard size
servo is primarily designed for aircraft use,
where it offers great torque and speed, as
well as having response and deadband
optimised for fixed wing applications.
Torque: 31.0 Kg/cm (6.0v)
Speed: 0.14 sec/60° (6.0v)
Dimensions: 40 x 21 x 38.4mm
Weight: 72g
The most powerful standard size
servo available from Futaba, the
brushless BLS152 servo is the
ultimate servo for high performance
models requiring only the best.
Ideal for large models and jets in
particular.
4.8v/6.0v
Torque: 6.0 Kg/cm (6.0v)
Speed: 0.12 sec/60° (6.0v)
Dimensions: 36 x 20 x 24mm
Weight: 35g
The S9070 is the first of Futaba’s
programmable servos. This servo
is extremely versatile, offering good
torque and speed in a compact low
profile design. Low profile designs
are often recommended in some of
the latest electric models.

Serial Bus System
Futaba innovate yet again with their brand new Serial Bus
system (so new that we do not have full information at
the time of writing!). As models have become ever more
sophisticated the quantities of servos and other on-board
equipment has increased, resulting in
huge bundles of untidy and potentially
vulnerable servo and extension
leads. The new S-Bus system
from Futaba eliminates all of this
and enables a single heavier duty
lead to be run from the specially
developed R6108SB 2.4GHz
receiver to the closest servos in the model, where a
further lead then runs off to the remaining servos, using
data communication to transmit control signals from
a receiver to a servo, gyro or other S-Bus compatible
device.
Compatible servos for the S-Bus system include the new
S3171SB, S9071SB and S9072SB servos, all of which have
the additional benefit of being fully programmable, with
parameters such as reverse/travel adjust/deadband/
speed neutral offset etc, etc being adjustable from
a PC using a CIU-2 interface or directly using the
SBC-1, S-Bus channel setting tool. Other Futaba servos
can be connected to the S-Bus system using SBD-1
S-Bus servo decoder/s. Note that the R6108SB receiver can still be used in the conventional
manner with normal servos plugging into individual channel outputs in the receiver.
