Probably the most important development in servo technology - and developed
exclusively by Futaba - the use of brushless motors and digital controllers
in this new ultimate range of servos greatly improves response time, as the
servos react much, much faster to any control input. Combine this with
vastly greater reliability due to the vibration-resistant and cooler running
brushless motor and the already legendary Futaba servo operating life is
typically increased by a factor of five!
You’ll also be pleased to learn that the dead-band, centring and power
consumption match Futaba’s existing digital servo range, but are
allied to noticeable increases in speed and torque, without
any change in size or weight.
