Installation
NOTE
For proper operation, standard conventions of filter location within the air system apply to the
installation of the electronic filter. Do not install downstream of humidification equipment.
Some arcing may occur during initial power-up but should cease after 10 seconds
CAUTION
NEVER energize the electronic filter with the filter open. ALWAYS unplug the filter at the jack
on the filter power head before opening the electronic filter.
ONLY the certified power supply provided with this product shall be used with the product. To
obtain a replacement, visit our website at www.aireman.com.
1 – TURN OFF the thermostat.
2 - TURN OFF power at the Air Handler/Furnace.
3 – REMOVE the old filter.
4 – PLUG-IN the power supply into a recepticle outlet (An
extension cord may be required).
5 – INSERT the electronic filter part way into the
filter rack.
6 – PLUG-IN the power cord to the electronic filter and
confirm the green light illuminates.
