General Description

STANDARD FEATURES

Airflow Switch

An adjustable differential pressure switch activates a visual alarm at the status panel and

breaks the power supply in the event of a fan or motor failure.

Compressor

(X Models)

Compressor(s) are mounted on the base via the use of vibration isolators. Each

compressor is designed for use with R407C refrigerant.

Utilise hermetic scroll compressors fitted as standard with:

Sizes 9, 13, 19, 23D & 41D

· Internal thermal motor protection

Utilise hermetic scroll compressors fitted as standard with:

· Internal thermal motor protection

Sizes 16, 31 & 35

· ECA Approved

Utilise hermetic scroll compressors fitted as standard with:

· Internal thermal motor protection

· Sight glass

· Internal thermal motor protection

Sizes 23, 25, 50D, 55D, 65D,

· High discharge gas thermostat

· Oil sump heaters, to guard against refrigerant migration and to eliminate oil foaming

on start-up

Refrigeration

Each refrigeration circuit features as standard:

· Externally equalised thermostatic expansion valve (TEV)

· Sight glass (loose)

· Filter drier (loose) (supplied with Airedale matched outdoor units)

· Holding charge of inert gas

X Models

97mm pleated disposable panel filters in a rigid frame. Conform to BS EN 779-G4.

Access and removal from unit front.

Filters

An adjustable diaphragm pressure switch is fitted across the filter assembly to monitor

pressure drop, which will initiate a filter dirty alarm.
