1. Roof strength
The roof members MUST be strong enough to support the weight of the airconditioner (up to 50kg) without any roof deflection that
will cause ‘pooling’ of water around the unit.
If in any doubt as to the strength of the roof then consider the use of an external ‘H” frame. Contact Aircommand for further details.
The square hole on the roof (356x356mm, 14”x14”) MUST be boxed up with minimum 20mm square timber to provide a structure
that is strong enough to withstand the compression of the installation bolts.
Longitudinals MUST be fixed securely to the transverse roof members to transfer load
