1. Roof strength
• The roof members MUST be strong enough to support the weight of the airconditioner (up to 50kg) without any roof deflection that
will cause ‘pooling’ of water around the unit.
• If in any doubt as to the strength of the roof then consider the use of an external ‘H” frame. Contact Aircommand for further details.
• The square hole on the roof (356x356mm, 14”x14”) MUST be boxed up with minimum 20mm square timber to provide a structure
that is strong enough to withstand the compression of the installation bolts.
• Longitudinals MUST be fixed securely to the transverse roof members to transfer load
