3. Close the pump bleed screw and start pumping
Use complete strokes in both directions and allow a second at each stop for the air to flow
through the ports inside the pump. Do not hurry because the pump needs time to work
properly.
At first, it may seem like no air is going into the tank. This is normal. If the tank is
completely empty, it may take a number of pump strokes before the needle on the gauge
starts to move.
It takes about 12-13 deliberate pump strokes to raise the tank pressure 100 pounds per
square inch (psi).
4. Finish pumping and disconnect the air tank
When the desired pressure has been reached, stop pumping and bleed the air from the
base of the pump by opening the brass screw located
beneath the gauge. Air will rush out a small hole next to
the bleed screw, carrying moisture with it.
When the air has been bled out of the pump base, you can
disconnect the air tank and use it. Leave the adapter
connected to the base of the pump.
5. Warranty
The hand pump is warranted to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of one year after
purchase. This warranty does not apply if there is
