Setup 1. Attach the baseplate and handle The Air Venturi hand pump comes almost completely set up. All you have to do is attach the baseplate and handle with the four screws provided. The pump is now ready to operate. Check the adapter to make sure the large O-ring is in its place in the end of the adapter where the air tank attaches.
. Close the pump bleed screw and start pumping Use complete strokes in both directions and allow a second at each stop for the air to flow through the ports inside the pump. Do not hurry because the pump needs time to work properly. At first, it may seem like no air is going into the tank. This is normal. If the tank is completely empty, it may take a number of pump strokes before the needle on the gauge starts to move.
