Please read instruction before you begin
Thank you for choosing Coast To Coast knotty pine wood barn door. Please read this instruction fully
before starting your barn door assembling. Not following the instruction can cause the unit warp or
shape change which will lead to unsafe manner and cause injury.
Any modification to the door will void the warranty and may cause the unit to work improperly.
The weight of the barn door requires minimal 2 people during installation. Always wear appropriate
personal protection equipment when using tools during the assembling.
Please avoid direct sunlight, moisture, these will cause future color shift or potential damage to the
product.

*Middle planks quantity will be variable due to dierent size.
Please make sure ALL parts are included before assembling.

Assembling Steps
Place one plank flat on your work surface, make sure the groove side of the panel is to the inside.
Take next plank and place it evenly into the first plank’s groove. Repeat steps with the remaining
planks. Make sure all Planks are aligned to top and bottom as you go. Planks should be evenly
spaced and snug. The smooth outer edge of the left and right end planks should be placed to the
outside.
Place the top and bottom planks onto the assembled door planks with the pre-drilled opening side
up. Make sure both panels are flush with the door edges on top and sides. There should not be any
overhang. Planks should be evenly spaced and snug. Do not insert any of the screws at this point.
Place the Center and K-Planks onto the door with pre-drilled opening side up. Make sure they lay
flush against the top and bottom planks.

Step 4. Secure all the Planks
Congratulations, now your barn door is ready to have the sliding door hardware installed.
Please use the hardware installation instructions prior to installing.
Once all planks are flush and square, secure the top and bottom planks with the screws
provided. Using the clamps secure all 4 corners. With the pre-drilled holes as your guide, drill
(1/8” bit) a shallow pilot hole into 4 corner holes. Do not drill completely through the door plank.
Using a screwdriver insert crews into the 4 corner pre-drilled holes. Continue process with the
remaining screws. Make sure all screws are installed and secured. It is important to check that all
planks are still flush and square.
Once the top and bottom planks are installed, drill shallow pilot holes in door planks through
center and K-planks, use the pre-drilled holes on the center and K-planks as your guide. Use
screws that provided in the box to secure the planks. DO NOT drill completely through the door
plank. Before you move to the next step, make sure all planks are still flush.center and K-planks,
