CLUTCHING V-BELT REMOVAL
• Disconnect spark plug wire.
• Remove two Belt Covers from the mower deck.
• Remove two side panels from Engine Mounting
Plate.
• Loosen and move four Belt Guides from out of the
way of the V-belt removal. (See Fig. 11)
• Remove Clutching V-Belt from around Engine
Pulley, from around Double Pulley and from around
Idler Pulley.
REINSTALLING CLUTCHING DRIVE V-BELT
• Install Clutching V-Belt around Engine Pulley,
around Double Pulley and around Idler Pulley.
• Move Clutch Lever to'ENGAGED" position.
• Move Belt Guides to within 1/16" from V-belt and
secure in place with bolt.
• Follow CLUTCHING V-BELT REMOVAL in reverse
to complete reinstalling V-belt.
SPINDLE DRIVE V-BELT REMOVAL
• Disconnect spark plug wire.
• Remove two belt covers from the mower deck,
• Remove two side panels from Engine Mounting
Plate.
• Remove clutching V-belt. (See CLUTCHING
V-BELT REMOVAL)
• Remove Eyebolt holding Brake Bell Crank Assembly
to deck and move Brake Belt Crank Assembly out
from under Engine Mounting Plate. (See Fig. 11)
• Disconnect Clutch Cable from Bell Crank Assembly.
• Remove Spindle Drive V-Belt from around three
pulleys and idler pulley.
REINSTALLING SPINDLE DRIVE V-BELT
• Reinstall Spindle Drive V-Belt following the above
procedure in reverse,
