STORAGE
1. Clean the engine and the entire unit thoroughly.

instructions.
3. If storing in an unventilated or metal storage shed, coat
metal parts with light oil or silicone to prevent rust.
4. Store unit in a clean, dry area.
It is important to prevent gum deposits from forming in essential fuel
system parts such as the carburetor, fuel lter, fuel hose or tank during
storage. Also, alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol or
methanol) can attract moisture which leads to separation and formation
of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an
engine while in storage.
To avoid engine problems while in storage of 30 days or longer, ll the
fuel tank to the top with fresh fuel treated with STA-BIL® fuel additive to
keep the fuel fresh and make sure it starts next season. Once fuel is
treated, run engine for 2 minutes to circulate stabilized fuel.
