Hardware Installation
Connecting to AGM Integrated Control Station (ICS)
To connect a SSR to an ICS you will need a 9 pin male to 25 pin female straight through
cable.
1. Plug the 25 pin end of the cable of the RS232 cable into the 25 pin D connector on the
back of the ICS.
2. Plug the other end of the RS232 cable into the 9 pin female D connector on top of the
SSR.
3. Power up both the ICS and SSR. If properly configured the “2” light should be on and
the “4” light should be off. If the “2” light is not on check your cable connections. If the
“4” light is on then the SSR is configured for RS485. The ICS will not work with a ICS
if configured for RS485 operation.
Connecting to AGM Universal Web Station (UWS)

Select either “A” or “B” depending on which port will be used with the SSR.
2. Plug the other end of the RS232 cable into the 9 pin female D connector on top of the
SSR.
3. Power up both the UWS and SSR. If properly connected the “2” light will be on. If not
on then check your cable connections.

The SSR may also be used with the RS485 connection on the UWS. The connection for any
RS485 device is the same. See the Connecting to RS485 Devices section for connection
details.
