Programming the Overcurrent Protection
Overcurrent protection guards the load against output
currents reaching values greater than the programmed
protection level.
The following steps shows you how to enable and disable the
overcurrent protection (OCP), how to set the OCP trip level,
and how to clear the overcurrent condition.
Set the OCP trip level and enable the OCP
1 Select an output channel.
• Press [1] to select Output 1, or
• Press [2] to select Output 2.
• The corresponding annunciator (OUT1 or OUT2) turns
on.
2 Set the OCP trip level.
• Press the [Over Current] button.
• The LIMIT annunciator turns off.
• The corresponding OCP annunciator (OCP1 or OCP2) will
blink continuously.
• The display will show the OCP value for the selected
output.
• The A annunciator will blink continuously.
3 Turn the knob to adjust the OCP value.
• While the A annunciator is blinking, turn the knob and
adjust to the desired OCP value.
