2 Operation and Features
Measuring Frequency
The frequency measurement function has the following
features:
• Range is based on the amplitude of the signal.
• Employs a reciprocal counting technique as the
measurement method.
• Gate time can be set at 0.1 second or 1 second of the
input signal.
Make the connection as shown below.
Agilent Measurement Manager operation
Select the Freq function and desired range. The reading is
displayed and updated continuously.
SCPI commands
The following example shows how to make a frequency
measurement using SCPI commands.
