NOTE
• The continuity function detects intermittent shorts and opens lasting
as short as 1 ms. A brief short or open causes the multimeter to emit a
short beep.
• You can enable or disable the audible alert via the multimeter’s setup.
See “Changing the beep frequency” on page 120 for more information
on the audible alert option.
