Crest Factor
The crest factor may be determined by using this formula:
You may refer to “Capturing Peak Values (Peak)” on page 94
on how to obtain the peak values.
The crest factor may be up to 3.0 at full- scale except for the
1000 V range where it is 1.5 at full scale, as explained in the
table below:

Exceeding the crest factor limit may result in an incorrect or a lower
reading. Do not exceed the crest factor limit to avoid instrument
damage and the risk of electric shock.
