When the Change Battery warning (Figure 1- 2) is shown on
the display, the multimeter will power- off automatically after
5 seconds (even if the APO feature is disabled).

WARNING
To avoid false readings, which could lead to possible electric shock
or personal injury, replace the battery as soon as the low battery
indicator appears. Do not discharge the battery by shorting the
battery or reverse the battery polarity in any of the subjects.
CAUTION
To avoid instruments being damage from battery leakage:
• Always remove dead batteries immediately.
• Always remove the batteries and store them separately if the
multimeter is not going to be used for a long period.
