You may enable the Filter for DC coupling of voltage and/or

current measurements. The icon will be shown during

the measurement.

To enable/disable the filter:

1 Press for more than 1 second to enter the

multimeter’s setup menu.

2 Browse to Menu 6 > FILTER, and press edit the value.

3 Use the arrow keys to enable the filter.

[1] The Filter (DC) will be set to ON as the factory default. You may change it to an

alternate setting, and the multimeter will remember the chosen setting for con-

secutive uses.

CAUTION

To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, enable the Filter(LPF) to

verify the presence of hazardous DC voltages. Displayed DC voltage values

can be influenced by high frequency AC components and must be filtered

to assure an accurate reading.
