Recording Measurement Data (Data Logging)

Performing event logs (TRIG)
Ensure that TRIG is selected as the data logging option in the
multimeter’s setup.
Event logs are used only with the following modes:
• TrigHold and AutoHold (page 96)
• MaxMin recording (page 92)
• Peak recording (page 94)
Event records are triggered by the measured signal satisfying
a trigger condition set by the measurement function used in
the following modes:
NOTE
When the interval log recording session is running, all other keypad
operations are disabled; except for , which, when pressed for more
than 1 second, will stop and exit the recording session. Furthermore, APO
(auto power-off) is disabled during the recording session.

Modes Trigger condition
The input signal value is recorded:
TrigHold Each time is pressed.
AutoHold When the input signal varies more than the variation
count.
MaxMin When a new maximum (or minimum) value is recorded.
The average and present readings are not recorded in the
Event log.
Peak When a new peak (maximum or minimum) value is
recorded.
