NOTE: To troubleshoot the bulk supply on N6702A
mainframes, disconnect the DC cables and the current
sharing cable. Check each bulk supply individually.
Turn on unit and observe the display. After a
few seconds it will display the Agilent logo and
the GPIB address. After self- test, it should
either display an error or go to metering mode.
Is the display on?
Check that ribbon cable is properly inserted between
front panel board and bias board.
Perform bias assembly troubleshooting.
Perform front panel assembly troubleshooting.
No output on
all channels ?

Check for 48V from A2 bulk supply (see note).
Perform bias assembly troubleshooting.
Perform backplane assembly troubleshooting.

switch to A2 bulk supply.
