INITiate Subsystem
The INITiate subsystem is used to control the
initiation of the trigger. Refer to the TRIGger
subsystem for related commands.
Continuous or Single Sweep
:INITiate:CONTinuous OFF|ON|0|1
:INITiate:CONTinuous?
Toggles the continuous sweep between on and off.
• When the On (1) parameter is selected, the
continuous sweep is enabled.
• When the Off (0) parameter is selected, the
continuous sweep is disabled and single sweep is
enabled.
Initiate a single sweep
:INITiate[:IMMediate]
This command initiates a single sweep.
Note that the command becomes effective only
after you have previously set the sweep mode to
single sweep.
*RST State: Continuous sweep (On)
Key Access: [BW/SWP] > {Sweep}
Key Access: [BW/SWP] > {Single Sweep}
