•When ON at the completion of each trigger cycle,
the trigger system immediately initiates another
trigger cycle.
•When OFF, the trigger system remains in an
“idle” state until CONTinuous is set to ON or an
:INITiate[:IMMediate] command is received.
On receiving the :INITiate[:IMMediate]
command, it will go through a single trigger
cycle, and then return to the “idle” state.
• The query returns 1 or 0 into the output buffer.
1 is returned when in a continuous measurement
state. 0 is returned when there is only a single
measurement.
Take New Data Acquisitions
:INITiate[:IMMediate]
This command initiates a sweep if not in a
measurement. If in a measurement, it triggers the
measurement. A “measurement” refers to any
function under the MEAS key.
Note that the function is enable only when the
continuous is OFF.
*RST State: Continuous, or On
