4 Making Measurements

Please refer to the procedures below for monitoring
the ADSL network.
1 Press [SYS] > {Setting} > {PwrOn/Preset} > {Power On
Last}, {Preset Last}
2 Press [SYS] > {More} > {More} > {LowFreqChannel On}
to enable the low frequency channel.
3 Press [AMPTD] > {More} > {Grid Scale On}
4 Connect the N9340B and ADSL network with a
probe.
5 Insert a USB stick into N9340B
6 Set the start frequency as 3 kHz and stop
frequency as 2 MHz.
Press [FREQ] > {Start Freq} > [3] > {kHz}
Press {Stop Freq} > [2] > {MHz}.
7 Press [BW/SWP] > [1] > {kHz} to set the RBW.
8 Press [MODE], Rotating the knob to highlight
xDSL Measurement, [ENTER].
9 Press {Disp mode} > {Spctrg&Trace}
10Press {Save&Load} > {File Setup} > {File Path USB}
11 Press {Return} > {Start Save}
The analyzer begins to automatically save the
spectrogram (*.SPE) or CSV file. when this file
size is reach the file size set in the {File setup},
the file will be automatically saved, and the
spectrogram measurement will restart.
