If in the middle of a set of Average or Max/Min Hold operations, it can seriously invalidate
the result, so you should exercise caution. Similarly, when querying trace data, it is best if
the N8201A is not sweeping during the query. Therefore, it is generally advisable to be in
Single Sweep, View or Blank when sending trace data to the N8201A or querying trace data
from the N8201A.
Example:
TRAC TRACE1,-1,-2,-3,-4,-5 sends five points to trace 1. Assuming that
FORMat:DATA is set to ASCII, Y-axis unit is set to dBm, and Sweep, Points
is set to 5,
this will result in trace 1 consisting of the five points:
−1 dBm, −2 dBm, −3 dBm, −4 dBm, and −5 dBm.
