Optimize Ref Level
Sets the input attenuator and reference level to optimize the robustness of the
measurement, in which it is free from errors due to input compression and log amp range
limitations. The input attenuator setting will not necessarily give the optimum dynamic
range, nor the optimum accuracy. No single setting can optimize both, and the optimum
setting often depends on the signal characteristics.
There will always be a minimum of 2 dB of attenuation set to protect the N8201A input.
